This trio embraces a unique mix of evocative sounds which spring from the hypnotic sound of the didjeridoo played by Moreno Papi and the original instruments played by Roberto Zanisi, the Italian cümbüs and steel pan soloist which join the drumming expertise of Lorenzo Gasperoni. A melting pot of sounds and rhythms which is sometimes honoured by the trumpet player Giovanni Falzone as a special guest.

"Unusual instruments and voices interweave, challenge and accompany each other in a fascinating exploration of ethnic, contemporary, new jazz and experimental music in mounting tension between angelic acoustics and the vibrations of the earth, between heaven and earth…The didgeridoo, the sacred instrument of the Australian Aborigines with a deep and hypnotic sound, is a eucalyptus branch hollowed out by termites and its origins are lost in the distant past of the austral night. The oldest examples of the trumpet have been found in Egypt and are thousands of years old. The cümbüs is a hybrid between the sarod, dobro, banjo e oud and has its origins in Turkey while the steel pan is an oil drum, cut open and tuned in an original way, used in Trinidad and Tobago. Diphonic chant is a technique used by Tibetan monks and consists in producing two sounds at the same time… (Press Office Fabbrica del Vapore, Milan)
